It's back to work we go. The school hols are finished and for me that means back to work - only 12 weeks to the next hols - yay! I really DO enjoy my work but I LOVE my leisure time even more.
Last Wednesday I packed an overnight bag & hit the road with my daughter & a girlfriend. I'd forgotten just how f**king fantastic the views are from the great ocean road... see pic.
We had a fun time together, I even regained a sense of self esteem that I thought had been slipping somewhat. Of course, many laughs later, it was time to head home.....sigh.....you know, I just wanting to keep on driving. I think I feel a road trip coming up sometime soon. I even listened to music outside my 'norm' & actually enjoyed Nelly Furtado's new album. See, so much can be achieved when you're in the relaxed zone! Now, where IS that map of Australia? LOL Oh well, I need to pack the bag for a gym session after work & then I'm off to catch some zzzz's. Have a great week to anyone reading! |
