So, what have I been doing? This week was fairly cruisy. Got some front row tickets to the "Countdown Spectacular" (shows my age) so have put my other tickets on ebay to sell. One person has already bought a set outright, so one down, one to go. Should be a fun night anyway, I use to luuuurrrrve Sherbet, I even had my own little shiny blue jacket that I thought I was so spunky in! LOL ..... then again, I wish I was still able to fit into that little jacket, there's a wish!!!
Have also bought tix for me, my sis & some friends to see Mums the Word - Teenagers. This too should be a fun day. I'm sure we'll relate to much of the antics our collective teenage daughters/sons get up to.
I've also joined a new gym. My last gym was always too crowded to get on the equipment by the time I got there, so I was forever waiting & too timid to get on some of the less familiar equipment, let alone know how to use the weight thingy machines - unfortunately too, the staff on board at the times I went were all more interested in their own social activities than to help out a little fatty like me!
Funny enough, one of my very good friends is a coordinator of a well known gym, so have put in some comments about starting programs for 'fatties like me' whereby they might actually encourage us & even go so far as to have 'special' classes/sessions for beginner fatties and even (!) the possibility of getting to know other fatties in the hope of encouraging each other and therefore (!) making their own gym look good. May be some gyms already do this? Surely there's a demand for it?
